The need to preserve nature's delicate equilibrium, to focus attention on environmental protection, and to promote the sustainable use of resources have all become part of an increasingly important challenge.
In this context, and with the aim of achieving a harmonious co-existence between environmental logic and the logic of commerce, Aquatech has set in motion numerous projects in various fields including: manufacturing processes, workplace safety, energy recovery and technological innovation. For years now, Piovan before and Aquatech now, have channelled all expertise and technological resources into creating products capable of optimising the use of energy sources.
These include the latest generation of high efficiency chillers and dry-cooler systems, for exploiting natural air temperatures, water management and distribution, and supervision systems for monitoring and optimising energy utilization, equipment operation and production efficiency and output.
Aquatech has made important strides in designing and equipping manufacturing plants characterised by reduced environmental impact in terms of emissions, waste production and the optimisation of energy consumption.
Ever since 1998, the company's Italian factory has been equipped with a co-generator, which recovers part of the thermal energy dispersed in steam and in cooling-down machinery, and turns it into electricity (30%, subsequently integrated with the mains supply) and heat (70%). Thanks to the use of this system, Aquatech has achieved average annual electricity savings of 10% and more.
The company has also conducted a careful study of packaging used in the transport of its machinery, in order to eliminate overpackaging and wherever possible to employ re-usable or recyclable materials.
Sustainability is the key to a stable and successful future.
Aquatech is committed to providing high quality cooling systems and services that consistently meet or exceed customer expectations. The focus on quality begins at the earliest stage of product design and carries through to the end user. Quality management is focused on development and continuous improvement using the best methods available, both in terms of organisation and process control systems and products
Aquatech holds all relevant product certifications and validations and continues to ensure the effectiveness of the quality management system.
